Flexibility: A Key Element to Future-Proof Workplaces

By Charles Corley | 05/23/2024

There was a time pre-covid when I was traveling from my location in Singapore to visit a couple of our other locations.  One of our 26 locations worldwide, was in New York. The office was laid out in a clear and organized way as one would expect.

I went into a meeting room for about an hour long discussion. When I emerged, the entire office had been completely reconfigured. It was like a completely different office. Nothing was like the previous layout and the change had occurred with amazing speed.

In the current post pandemic environment and with AI changing the nature of our roles, the only constant in business is change. Designing office spaces with adaptability in mind allows for quick and efficient reconfiguration is ideal for meeting evolving business needs and maintaining a productive environment. Well, perhaps not necessarily in an hour as I had experienced but certainly without construction and reworking of building services.

Our leading designers have demonstrated to me they have a myriad of techniques for achieving adaptive and flexible environments to suit a wide variety of strategic objectives.
