Technology Integration in the Digital workplace

Advanced IT infrastructure and smart office solutions are revolutionizing the way that we design and construct workplaces.

I had the benefit of attending a discussion with Julian Rimmer of MMoser Associates, director and professional engineer leading Sustainability, environment and technology teams globally, in order to better understand what M Moser achieves for our clients.

Here is a very brief summary of what I learned:

𝐔𝐬𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐔𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- Integration of IoT for enhanced user experience is part of our data-driven approaches for understanding and optimizing space utilization as is the use of mobile apps for temperature, lighting control, and interaction with colleagues.
𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
- Development of smart building technologies, including AI for building operations includes integration of diverse systems for centralized control and efficiency.
- More and more we are involved in the implementation of digital twins for real-time monitoring and decision-making.
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲:
- There is an emphasis on secure data handling in smart building solutions which can include the use of on-premise data storage for quick response and security.
𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐠-𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭:
- We provide continuous engagement with our clients for long-term service and support and stewardship programs for ongoing data hosting and analytics.
𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- To meet this growing demand, we have a global team with localized support in various regions. This also enables the adaptation of solutions to meet local market needs and compliance.
